For those of you wondering what I've been doing this year inbetween my studying, this is it. Took me around half a year, doing bits here and there. I finally had the time to finish it 2 days ago.
Himura Tomoe from Rurouni Kenshin. I always liked her character and not to mention that Ruroken is one of my all time favourite manga, it was also one of the first I've ever read. If anyone thinks this looks familiar (or not...would be better for me) it's because it's done from the same sketch by my friend Erina. We..er..."cleaned up" a few details and added a background. This is based on the scene from Volume 19 Chapter 167! [link] <---That's my attempt 2 years ago, when I first started CGing. Personally, I think I improved since then.  EDIT: I just realised that the mouth was a bit too high up on the face. |

I think that Tomoe was quiet because of her ..what-is-it "neutrality" or something? But she still managed to smile for Kenshin and Kenshin really loved her so I believe that it was an important first love~ And they both found happiness for the short time that they were together!
